About OctaPlex
Introduction
OctaPlex has a long history of providing reliable embedded solutions. The core area of competence is embedded electronics, however OctaPlex has a broad foundation for providing a complete solution containing software, firmware, hardware and mechanical elements. The experience driven foundation enables OctaPlex to participate in all levels of a solution from system level design and specification down to detailed implementation. New technologies are reduced to small building blocks added onto the already broad foundation, which spans simple temperature controllers to high end military radar systems. In providing these solutions to different clients OctaPlex has become familiar with the differing development processes spanning the range of airborne military products to the speed of developing commercial products.
Philosophy
OctaPlex uses one of Albert Einsteins quotes as a fundamental principle:
This is because simplicity generally leads to:
- Reliability,
- Maintainability,
- Lower risk,
- Higher probability of first time right,
- Lower cost in many aspects from design to production to logistics and support,
- Testability,
- Reduced development time.
The benefit of using OctaPlex
- The cost of the development is known up front based on a detailed quotation.
- During idle times there is no cost to your company.
- OctaPlex is a self managing entity that takes all necessary actions to ensure that the quoted project schedule is adhered to.
- In addition to using OctaPlex to help bring your mainstream products to market, OctaPlex is also ideal to fill the gap in doing a modification, developing a bridging product or a concept demonstrator without distracting your mainstream resources.
